Islands Organic Producers Association
Islands Organic Producers Association (IOPA) offered organic certification from 1990 to 2024 to the coastal Islands region of southwest BC, Canada.
In 2025 we joined forces with North Okanagan Organic Association to form a province-wide body for certifying organic producers to the British Columbia Certified Organic Program. A new name to reflect our broader identity will be released soon.
If you see IOPA cited as the certifier on an organic product, you can now trace that claim through https://nooa.ca/member-directory/ If you don’t find the farm listed there, see also https://nooa.ca/contact/
If you’re a producer looking for organic certification, please also visit nooa.ca for more information.
We respectfully acknowledge our work takes place on the unceded and sovereign territories of Indigenous nations who have, for millenia, been stewards and food producers across the coastal islands region colonially known as southwest BC, Canada.
